Toyota-United’s Burke Swindlehurst climbed to the top step of the podium Sunday as the winner of the two-day, three-stage High Uintas Classic Stage Race in Evanston, Wyo.Swindlehurst soloed away to win Saturday’s 80-mile race through the rugged mountains of the Wasatch-Cache National Forest to the summit of Bald Mountain. He followed that with third in Sunday morning’s 10-mile time trial and second in the afternoon criterium.
“I'm pretty happy with this since I've been second at this race the previous four times I’ve done it,” Swindlehurst said.
With Swindlehurst's victory, Toyota-United has now won 22 races in 2007.
